Improving higher education and vocational training
As conservatives move to Tennessee, the number of students seeking higher education in the state grows too. In order to keep up with this growth and ensure our students have access to the best higher education available, as Governor, Marsha will encourage public-private partnerships to ensure our institutions have the facilities and resources they need. She’ll work with state legislators to strengthen Tennessee’s 529 program to make a college education more accessible to all Tennesseans.
Tennessee colleges and universities must comply with President Trump’s Executive Orders that ban them from using federal funding for DEI programs, and there should never be a question about men in women’s collegiate sports.
Most importantly, Marsha will fight to increase vocational education for a better-trained, more prepared workforce. A four-year college degree isn’t for everyone, and improving vocational training will increase opportunities for all Tennesseans and help them find good-paying, meaningful work.
