Brentwood, TN – The Tennessee Fraternal Order of Police (TN FOP) recently endorsed U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn, joining the Tennessee Police Benevolent Association and the Police Officers’ Defense Coalition in backing her for re-election.
“Law enforcement officers are essential to keeping our communities safe and maintaining law and order,” said Senator Blackburn. “I am honored to receive the Tennessee Fraternal Order of Police’s endorsement again because amidst the Left’s push to implement soft-on-crime policies, backing the blue has never been more important. Whether it’s advocating for our law enforcement heroes or leading legislation to bolster resources for our law enforcement to fight violent crime, I will always work to support the law enforcement community.”
“Senator Marsha Blackburn is a great friend to law enforcement, and the Tennessee Fraternal Order of Police is proud to support her for re-election,” said Scottie DeLashmit, Tennessee State Lodge FOP President. “Throughout her first term in the Senate, Senator Blackburn has remained committed to supporting our needs and pushing for the resources necessary to keep Tennesseans safe. Whether it’s successfully fighting back against child trafficking online or proposing legislation that would help us maintain law and order in our communities, we can count on Marsha Blackburn.”
The Fraternal Order of Police endorsed Marsha Blackburn for U.S. Senate in 2018, when she defeated Governor Phil Bredesen, the last Democrat to win statewide, by nearly 11 points.
