Brentwood, TN – U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) released the following statement on Kamala Harris’ selection of Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) to be her running mate on the 2024 ticket.
“Since Kamala Harris was selected as the Democrat Party’s nominee, she has desperately attempted to rebrand herself as a moderate. Today, Harris chose to side with the antisemitic, pro-Hamas radical liberal wing of her party. We now know where she stands and where her party stands. Governor Walz is a Trojan Horse for more of the radical policies that earned Kamala ‘most liberal senator’ in 2019. Just last month, Tim Walz claimed that ‘one person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.’ The Harris-Walz ticket is a dangerously liberal ticket. If Americans want to restore prosperity at home and peace abroad, a vote for President Donald Trump and JD Vance is the only choice,” said Senator Blackburn.
