Brentwood, TN – Honor Our Veterans, a veterans support organization, officially endorsed Marsha Blackburn for governor.
Speaking about their endorsement, Co-Founders Tom Freeman and Don Belton said: “Mrs. Blackburn has been a steadfast supporter of our fellow veterans and our Active, Guard, and Reserve branches without fail. Her legislation demonstrates that commitment and leadership. We can trust Marsha to continue to support veterans and military needs as our next Governor.
“Veterans will continue to be her priority as our next Governor. She has promoted hiring veterans and has done so on her own staff. She has championed veterans’ healthcare and is working to pass The Veterans Bill of Rights to clean up the way the United States VA serves veterans.
“Blackburn is a Christian, a champion for the unborn, and a demonstrated conservative. When the state ‘leadership ‘ wanted to pass a state income tax law, Marshall shot it down! She’s a leader we can trust. Small business owner, mom, grandmother, and wife to husband Chuck.
“We respectfully urge you to cast your early vote for Blackburn for Governor; you’ll be glad you did! As veterans, we know how important it is to have a Governor we can trust to fight for us; Marsha Blackburn is that person.”
Accepting the endorsement, Marsha Blackburn said: “Honor Our Veterans serves veterans across the Volunteer State selflessly, and I’m honored to have their endorsement. I’ve always stood with those who serve our country, and as your governor, I’ll make certain they receive the care, support, and respect they’ve earned. Our veterans are the heart and soul of Tennessee, and together, we can and should make Tennessee the number one state for veterans in the country!”
Recently, Marsha Blackburn secured major endorsements from the NRA, Congressman Matt Van Epps, the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Tennessee Professional Fire Fighters Association, and the Shelby County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association.
