MEMPHIS, TN – Shelby County Suburban Mayors Council consisting of Germantown Mayor Mike Palazzolo, Lakeland Mayor Josh Roman, Collierville Mayor Maureen Fraser, Bartlett Mayor David Parsons, Arlington Mayor Mike Wissman, and Millington Mayor Larry Dagen announced its endorsement of Marsha Blackburn for Governor, pointing to her leadership on public safety and the success of the Memphis Safe Task Force.

“When you see crime going down and confidence going up, that’s not by accident” said Germantown Mayor Mike Palazzolo. ”That’s Marsha Blackburn getting it done and that’s what she’ll continue to do as governor.”
“Our job is to protect our communities, and Marsha Blackburn has been a true partner in that fight,” said Lakeland Mayor Josh Roman. “I have every confidence she’ll continue to be that partner for us as our 51st Governor.”
“Safer streets, stronger neighborhoods, and someone who actually listens,” said Collierville Mayor Maureen Fraser. “That’s why I’m voting Marsha for Governor.”
“Marsha knows that the government that works best is closest to the people, and as our next governor I know she will fight for our communities,” said Bartlett Mayor David Parsons.
“Marsha leads with strength and delivers with purpose,” said Arlington Mayor Mike Wissman. “Tennessee will be in good hands with her as governor.”
“Senator Blackburn has long been a fierce working partner for our Shelby County communities in Washington, and she’ll continue fighting for us from the Governor’s office,” said Millington Mayor Larry Dagen.
“Keeping Tennesseans safe is my top priority,” said Senator Marsha Blackburn. “The success we are seeing in Memphis proves that when we back our law enforcement, hold criminals accountable, and make all facets of government work together, we are able to create real change. As Governor, I will make certain Tennessee builds on this momentum so we can keep every community across the state supplied with the tools and support they need to stay safe and thriving.”
