NASHVILLE, Tenn. – U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn officially announced her candidacy for Tennessee governor this week, setting the stage for a competitive 2026 election.

As reported by CBS News, Blackburn is seeking to succeed term-limited Governor Bill Lee and is expected to be a frontrunner in the Republican primary.
